Production from operating mines can be assembled from a wide variety of reference materials although the assembly process can be time consuming and errors or omissions frequently occur.  Mining Activity Update provides this information for our clients in a series of charts called Production Summaries.

Production Summaries are compilations of mine output statistics assembled by commodity and year into one tabulation. Our attempt is to list all operating mines from throughout the world that meet or exceed our minimum output criteria. Each mine entry contains mine location, name of operation, ownership, total production and net change in output from the previous year. All mine operations are then sorted based on production from the largest to the smallest.

Each tabulation also contains a summation of total production from each of the 7 separate geographic regions that comprise the world and the net change from the previous years’ output. The resulting document is therefore a complete analysis of production trends for each commodity.
